i wanted to ask you guys if cam gears would be ok to install with minor bolt ons such as: i/h/p/e/vafc/fpr?

will adding cam gears affect anything if anything at all?

it would be alright it won't hurt nothing, as for performance or gain i don't think you would notice the change unless you also put some cams in too.

 

do you have aftermarket cams? i wouldn't get the gears without having cams.

 

wont cam sprockets give you some power (2-3 hp) and doesn't it even out your hp curve or someing. Even on stock cams..

 

i can't say how much hp you could pick up....but by just putting them on none...

they are fine on stock cams, there is no reason why they wouldnt be........

you need to get on a dyno and have the tuner play with the timing a bit, he should be able to pull a few hp out here and there....but midrange will see good gains if you get a good tuner.....

 

it would be good to have, but not very necessary on stock cams
