i was wondering what kind of maintenance do i need when it hits the 60k mark.. i dont have the owners manual, because i got the car used.. and ive searched, and found a little on changing the water pump and the timing belt.. and thats it?

and would a honda dealership do it or will they not because its a jdm engine?

I am pretty sure the timing belt and water pump dont need to be done until 90k and on 97 and up it is 110k. Reguardless i dont think that the honda dealership will have any problem with working on your car. What year is your car/motor?

If you are unsure of what was done to the motor, you should have the timing belt checked to see how much life it has left on it. That is an item you need to know how old it is and change it accordingly.

Other than that, you should be fine. No other things to upgrade.

60k mi service: oil change, coolant flush, tranny fluid/filter, alignment, valve adjustment, brakes taken out and cleaned, etc, fuel filter, plugs, wires, etc, there mgiht be some more. I had the dealer do this a couple months ago for my lude (still only at 60k miles, all orginal!).

Your H22 has an auto tensioner for the timing belt which is very prone to failure. H23s came with a manual tensioner that many people switch to because it's way more reliable.
