Yea I couldnt get it off with the snap on impact. I use a socket wrench with a bigass pipe on the end to break it loose. Both breaker bars were harbo freight that probably why they broke.

unless you have a REALLY high powered impact gun with a big air compressor that can keep up with the flow then you need a 6 foot peice of pipe and the honda tool that holds the crank pulley from turning

I tried many impact guns and they were just plain pointless. Just use a socket and a breaker bar and apply constant pressure with the car in 5th gear if its a manual. Dont just jerk the bar or it wont come out. Constant pressure.

No need for a pulley holder. just take off the flywheel cover on the bottom of the tranny. Then put a long screwdriver in there to hold the crank from turning. Works perfect and saves you $, but if you have the money buy a pulley holder im sure its well worth it.

This is what i do when I take out my crank pulley. Or you can take out your starter and place your screw driver there.

Putting it in gear will not hold your crank from turning.

I had to have mine taken off with a 3/4'' impact at full power, which is like 1200lb/ft of torque...
