Default truth about turbo (??? bout it)

i have seen turbo setups where the intake goes filter - intercooler - turbo- blowby - intake
but i have seen recent setups that go filter - turbo - intercooler - blowby - intake

which one is the right one? i thought the intercooler was to cool the turbo from the hot exauast or is it the "cooler air is more dence" thing?

i am not a turbo guy i know nothing bout them and have no plans to turbo my car yet i might a few years down the road but not in the near future

also what PSI is optimum? i heard that 7-8 psi is? whats the max our motors can handle?

your second notion was right. as gas (air) is compressed, it heats up. cold dense air will give you more power.

if you've really seen the other set up, then those people probably shouldn't drive cars.
