D15 or H22

Alright here's the debate. My buddy has the opportunity to purchase an h22 powered 93 Hatch. He was doing some research and stumbled across the d15 and thinks it's a better engine. I like to think I know a few things about honda engines but have never done any research on this particular engine. Which do you think: the heavier more powerful H22 or the lighter less powerful D15?
If he buys that h22 hatch, he will more than likely be buying a car that has been raced and that engine will blow on him very soon. A big powerful engine like the h22 in a light small car like an eg hatch is almost ALWAYS a car that is being/has been raced.
Anyway, it depends on what you are looking at for the pros and cons.

I agree that the H22 hatch has been beat on, but it sure would be fun. If is planning on just getting a hatch and swapping, a D15B will be easier & cheaper, but an H22 will have MUCH more potential.
