can you make a obd0 b16 swap into a 92-95 legal?
Well I have a 90 si with a b16 in it, and i hit a deer with it. So I was condering getting a 92-95 but i dunno how to go making it pass smog. I always heard it was illegal to swap oldering motors into newer cars. So is it do able for a reasonable price? Anyone have a how to or something?

In california you cannot swap an older motor into a newer shell. So your basically right. Looks like you live in PA so it may be different there

I thought it was an EPA regulation, that the states are to enforce on their own; and that some states without emissions just 'overlooked' or plain don't care.
