What would you do?
Hi guys,
I want to do either of 2 things:
1)Buy a 92-95 Si and put a DragII/III on it.
OR
2)Buy a (cheaper) 92-95 Vx,DX,CX and swap the engine for a b16.
What do you think would be cheapest for reliablity and decent power? I have about $7000 Canadian ($4200 American.) to spend.
Thanks again for your help. (I'm thinking #2 right now)

if it were me i'd buy the si hatch turbo it and be happy. but most people will say just swap it, so it really boils down to u. go with the a swap if u want to be reliable, turbo's can be quite a pain.

go with the swap. It'll be more reliable in the long run, you should have less miles on the swapped motor, and there's a ton more parts available for it (as someone who's had both engines can honestly say).

I say the b16 because it's a bit cheaper than the b18....almost a grand American I think...which is about 1600 Canadian. I'd rather spend that money on suspension stuff. *shrugs*
