what crankshaft bearings should i use on a b16 block sleeved and the crank is polished. It is gonna be using eagle rods and a stock cranks just polished.

ACL is never a bad choice.
Give em to your machine shop so they can measure it.
By the way, since you're in Chicago, who's doing the machining?

 

one6 sent out the block for sleeving and they told me to measure it out too..But still not sure on which ones to use.

 

I like One6 but I suggest taking that block to APEX, they are a great machine shop, I'm getting my build done there quite possibly in the next week (going with ACL bearings, also using a b16, and also using a refinished stock crank.

If you've heard of AMS and their project cars, well APEX has made several of their blocks in the past, and I've seen some secret projects from different shops in the local area and it's great work that they do (30+psi). They are located on 83/archer about 25mins SOUTH of One6.

There a few H-T members that have gone through with APEX also, and I have gone through them twice myself personally.

 

well the whole motor is done..its just that i need bearings to finish it up..Ive built up a few other cars already and had my blocks done by apex.

 

I'd personally just take it to them then. I mean have them measure it and assembly the bottom and call it a day.
They'll charge probably around 50 bucks; but that's just me I mean I don't have any fancy measuring tools..
But yea I've used ACL in the past and I like them.

where can i get a set of acl bearings? i dont feel like taking the block anywhere else and i just wanna get the bearings..since i already have the measurements.
