ok WD-40 is hgarbage, its not a penetrating oil. Get some PB-Blaster when u need to remove a stuck bolt.

now to remove the outer rod youre gonan need 2 wrenches and possibly a torch.
i took a big *** adjustable wrench and put it on the inner tie rods nut that keeps the outer rod in place. Put the torch to the very end of the outer tie rod for about a minute, then fix your big wrnehc holding onto the nut so that its rested against your damper fork/axel area. then put a wrench on your tie rods and just fuckign go nuts on it. U may need a cheater bar and/or some one to hold one of the wrenches. gl. any questions u can aim me @ ferencz03

put the wrnech thats closer to you at the end of the tie rod, this should give you more room and better leverage. goto Kmart and get a torch for liek 15 bucks. Its one of my most useful tools. Sure i dont use it as much as everythign else, but for some stuff, its the only way u can possibly do it.

try the torch. heat just the end of the tie rod, u dont want to heat the inner tie rod end because that will cause that to expand, and the tie rod will be even tougher to remove. if this doesnt work.... keep the torch on it for like a minute, then dump some cold water on it, heat it up again, spray some penertrating oil in, let it sit, try removing, dont work? heat again, cool it again, this will cause it to move around and actually break any bonds it has. I dont suspect it will take this much manuevering, but u never know.

BTW, sup gator, ure on resource and CRXHQ right?

heat

i had the same problem tried everthing pb blaster over night and it still woudnt budge.

Heated up the outer tie rod for a min or 2 and presto came right off.

Also out the tie rod end into the knuckle and bolt it down half way, that way you have control over the tie rod and it isnt going to flop around on you.

those little propane torches don't get nearly hot enough to do anything more than cook a pop tart. i do agree with the pb blaster though. soak it down and let it sit for about 20 mins. if that still doesn't work get a real mans torch and have that fokker glowing orange. you wouldn't believe how easily that bolt will back off then.
