Tail lights leak and back seats collect water???
Im going to seal my tail lights because they leak and I end up with a giant puddle of water in my spare tire holder, I have hurd of this problem with honda's and acura's. My back seats must have hole's under them I guess well somehow the water gets into the bottom of the back seats. Has anyone else have this problem or am i just smoking way to much crack these days???
hatchback i assume??
i bet the water in the wheelwell is just travelling to the back seats whenever you brake hard. my suggestion? id just drill a small hole into the wheel well (avoiding the gas tak of course), then clear coat it.

its your taillight gaskets that leak waters, and the waters gets under your rear seat from you braking. When you brake all the water that is in your spare tire well goes foward, so a little water ends up under your rear seat.
I have a 00 si coupe and there is like ******* a gallon of water in my back seat, I dont really understand what you guys are saying what do i have to do???
lay a dry towel down where the wat seems to be on the seat.take a big *** cup of water and dump it on the window closest to the problem area ie. left side of seat dump on left side window and left side of rear windshield. dump the water all the way across the top of the window(s) and see it it leaks
Good thing I have a Sedan. Whatever water builds up stays in the "tub" where the spare tire sits. I actually have a visible hole on the floor of my trunk where the water is probably coming from. But it's not that bad at all.
I guess look for any visible holes on the floor and cover them up with tabs of some sort.
