Default intake...

do you know of any good brands that have their cai run down instead of straight and close to engine??without custom making one...i would custom making one but i dont want to mess with sensors... like here in the pic

^^^i want mine going down not out like this

i guess its hard to explain...i want to know if there are any companie who make the filter away from the hot engine...like the custom in the picture or should i just make a custom like the pic or buy one and run a cold air box with tube from front?????????????

A CAI is exactly that......AEM makes a "Short RAm" I guess that you would say it is the one that sits by the hot engine. and a CAI which goes where that one in the pic goes as well. Cold Air Inductions all go into the fender well.

Any CAi will place the filter behind the front bumper. some are 2 piece construction allowing you to install a bypass valve if neccasary others like mine are a one piece.

oh...all cai's sit under like that??? i saw some people post pics of engine and be like mods "cai" and it owuld be short and close to engine...

I think It's CP performance, not really sure, It wasn't to pricey it came with a great filter, the stainless steel mesh.... OMG beats the K&N filter.

TTT......Trail, Just make sure that you get a "cold air induction." If you get any other type of intake you will get the bottom one.
