Default Omnipower instalation,

i just installed my omnipower coilovers. and when i was taking off my stock shocks i had to remove the bolts that held the brake lines in place, but after i installed the omnipowers, theres no where to secure the brake lines.. what do i do?

zip ties are your freind, you will notice that almost none of the really expensive coilovers have provisions for the brake lines, I dont think the brakelines were ever in their consideration when they were on the drawing board.

where ever you feel it would secure the line best without putting it in the way of damage.

Did you take off the brake line brackets from your stock shocks and see if they would fit onto the Omnis? I have had Teins and Konis, and on both, the stock brakeline brackets slipped right on, right above the drop forks.

EDIT: actually, i dont think they will fit for the omni's lower collar area is much larger in circumference than stock.

to get the bracket off i think my friends just hammered it off or something like that. just measure the diameter of the omni shock to the stock shock. the bracket fit right onto my koni shocks (i have the omni sleeves). perhaps IM omniman if you want a definite answer. but like others said zip ties will do the job.

the brackets are the same diameter as the drop fork opening, so the bottom of the omnipower shock should have the same diameter. I am not sure how far up the omni goes until it hits the larger diameter section, but you only need about 1/4 of an inch for the bracket.
