Default How did you secure your front brake lines, when your new shocks dont have brackets??

Hi, i recently installed omnipower coilovers on my civic, and now i have no mounting points for the brake lines. My father (retired mechanic), tells me they wont pass inspection with that much play in the brake lines (ie they arent secured to the shock). What was everyones fix? please let me know thanks

How about a welder and some scrap metal?

They will even inspect your brakes lines? I doubt that, just put some black zip ties on it and your done.

yea i think some scrap metal and a couple welds will be the ultimate solution. i was just wondering if any1 used anything else.

Personally i dont think that they will do any harm if they are not secured, but my father thinks a whole lot differently and says its defintly a major saftey issue. so i dunno

Zip ties...double them up in a X pattern....

Inspect them often if you are concerned.....
