Default B18C5>into>85 crx si

will this work w/ mounts, and the regular things that you do the swap w/? guy that cuts my grass has a B18C5(new) and is lookin to sell it.

get it if its cheap, but i gotta warn you that any swap into the 87 and lower models of crx will be harder to do than the 88+ because most after market parts are made for the 88+ and you whould have to make custom mounts for it to fit in your 85 crx. But its possible if you really wanna.

Not true. Hasport makes mounts for this swap.

Hasport has pretty much everything you need to do this swap. Your going to need to use a cable transmission. Id say do it, a B18C5 would be such a blast to drive in a 1st gen......if your car is carbed then this swap is going to be alot of work

yeah man..sell the oldschool car..but if you can get a C5 for cheap..get it...get a newer car....for sell it and make profit

if you can put a B16, you can put a B18C5. The only think you need to worry about is the hood clerance. the C5 sits about 5/8" taller than the B16 at the valve cover. The rest is the same. You need to use a cable B series tranny though, I don't know if the hydro would fit since it is about 3/4" longer (left to right) than the cable ones.

sorry no fullsizes, theres someone on the rex forums that copyed it from meh...

but i cant sell my car dude, its like a pride thing, love it too much!

is there anyone that has put a B18C5 into a 85 crx?
