anyone done a 1st gen swap?
Im sellin US motors for a friend of mine and came across a guy whos got a 1st gen crx who wants to do a swap, i know the old skool dohc teg motor is a direct bolt on. anyone done any other swaps? will the zc drop right in too?
the 1st gen hasport kits cost like 6 bones........ and it's a damn tight fit.
But ****..... imagine a B16 in a stripped out 86 HF? HOLY ****!

jeasus a b16a on a 1st gen crx man thats gonna be awesome but its gona be hella tight, i checked out this guys car and man i gotta say the space is extremely limited!
Another problem you may encounter on a first generation swap is fuel injection. I believe that only the Si's were fuel injected. So to put a B16 in a first generation CRX HF means you have to convert to fuel injection. I think it can get pretty expensive. It would be damn quick though.
you can use a 1st gen. ZC. it has an olive colored valve cover. You think a b16a into a 1st gen. is a tight fit, I've seen it done with a prelude motor. I'll have to find the link for that one.
