Default 4th Gen Reverse lights gone mad

So I got up this morning and went outside to warm up the car and have a smoke. While I was looking at the new tail lights I just got my friend for her civic, I wandered over to the prelude (cars parked next to each other) and realized that my reverse light were on. So I've been told that it has to do with a switch under the tranny? Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know if could be something else? I just find it random that last night, everything was fine. If it has happened to you please let me know and what your solution was. TIA.

It's right there on top of the transmission, 2 wires, I beleive they are a green one and a yellow one.
