should i bypass vtec pressure switch?
i've been throwing a cel 22 on and off for sometime now and i've even replaced the entire solenoid unit but it still hasn't completely eliminated the problem. im pretty sure its something wrong with wiring/grounding/something.
unlike most of the guys with my problem, im actually running 2001 usdm itr motor with 2001 usdm itr ecu.
i hear a lot of people talking about grounding the vtec wire, although im unsure of how to do this. where would i ground it from? what wire do i ground?
also i hear of many people jumping the a4 and d6 wires and "tricking" the ecu into thinking oil pressure is fine. would i just unplug both in the engine bay and connect them? splice into them and have a wire connect the two?
What would u guys recommend, and if possible please explain as clearly as possible how you would achieve this (pictures are good
)
thanks for any input guys.
