Default help a brotha' out...picture(s) request...

wondering if someone can take a few pics of their stock(or mostly stock) engine bay for me. i need a couple visual references, mainly to help reconnect my wiring harness and route hoses. i have a few to reference when i tore the motor apart after she exploded, but it wasnt even close to stock and most harness connections werent used so I dont even know where or what they go to. this is my first time rebuilding a motor and i have so much **** to do(such as rewire my injector harness), anything to save me some time and frustration would be a huge help. the helms is driving me crazy. thanks

There is a photo in this thread - not the biggest photo, but it may help.

Need anything specific? Most of my engine bay is stock... except for Turbo/injectors/oil cooler and sandwich plate.

Have camera, will travel.

thanks I looked around real quick for some engine shots but didnt come up with any. that one should help some.

basically Im getting stuck in one particular spot. starting on the right hand side of the engine bay, you have the alternator connections (ground and harness plug). then as you move down the harness, there is the CKF(crank sensor), injector harness, oil pressure switch, and one other one that I dont know what it is. looking at the helms, it looks like it might be the IAB (intake air bypass valve) connector, but that appears to only be on the GSR harness. could this possible be related to the power steering system which I had removed? I dont see any mention of it in the diagram Im looking at in the helms though.

Im also having a hard time seeing which is the IAT (intake air temp) connector. it should connect to the sensor on top of the intake manifold #2 runner, but I cant see where on the harness it leads from.

i think i have the rest nailed down, except the mystery one on the right side of the harness.

Why not just reference the service manual for the wire colors for each sensor and then figure out which sockets go where?

Ill look into that. Im not familiar with the wiring process at all so I didnt realize you could do something like that. Ill see if I can figure it out like that if all else fails. Im learning a lot though by doing all this myself.

OK I must be confused. Color code for what? Im guessing the wires on the harness. But if I have the color of the wires, how does that help me find out what connector on the motor it goes to? those arent color coded are they?

Hope this helps.

Could be the knock sensor, RED/BLUE (red with blue stripe), since the ITR doesn't have an IAB.

The CKF is the BLUE/RED and WHT/RED wire.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for regarding the IAT. The IAT is the one with the Red/Yellow and Green/Black wire.

Pix of the IAT
