What kind of alternator can i put in a JDM B16A sirII. I have tried all kinds of alternators. I need to know this answer. ASAP. What usdm car will be conpatible with motor. I have tried a 99-00 honda civc si alternator nothing worked.

i think the b-series alternators are the same... just the plug on the alternator is different. i think the plug on the alternator is and obd thing. or change the alternator bracket to a usdm one.

 

It's an obd thing to. I think a 94-95 del sol b-series v-tec is compatible.

 

as far as i know, the alternators should all fit, just won't plug in. so if you need an obd1 alternator, the dohc vtec sol or teg is the one you're looking for.

 

94 del sol vtec shoudl fit. check it out.
