why dont you go with H22 if you want to drag race?
i dont know about the 1/4 time of 18C.. but its a fast enough track car.. imo

i was under the impression that an h22 swap is really hard to do, and that the b18c swap would be alot easier and less expensive

With numerous companies offering custom mount & axle kits so readily available nowadays, the H22 isn't as hard a swap as it used to be...but that stuff adds up $$$
Definitely faster than a GSR though, 30 more of both hp & torque...

other than the complete swap..
you still have to get new clutch, timing belt.. and some other little stuff.. and also labor if you are not doing it yourself..
so i say probably around 1k.. maybe more

Well, depends also on how many miles the swap has on it...you may not need to do the t-belt and clutch for a while, although if you can afford it that might be a security measure...make sure it works before installing it all, otherwise it's tough to do once in the car.

it is almost a standard procedure to replace the clutch and timing belt when doing the swap.. its is much easier and cheaper to do it while the engine is outside the car

True, a stock clutch is about $100 and with the engine on the ground can be done in 30 minutes or so. Getting a crank pulley bolt off isn't easy anytime though!
