Default Extended top hat studs??? Mounting strut brace directly...

Question, I am fabing strut brace with mounts that go directly to the top hat mounts and i am using 1/8" for the mount plate and then i will have 3/16" thread to play with do i need extra thread? like at least 3 showing threads is what i have been told.... Is there such a thing as extended top hat studs is this a good idea?

Tryed to paint the picture the best i could thanks!

you can try to find some bolts (studs) that are the same as the stock honda ones. I dont see why 1/8" is too thick to only reveal 3 threads. or 3/16"...

my previous strut bar went on the shock mount bolts and it had plenty of space for the nuts...

good luck!
