all i used were the pedals, clutch cable, and linkages,oh also a shifter boot and a lil sheet metal to cover the holes fron the mounting bracket for the auto shifter

I would imagine that there are some mounting problems associated with the civic that was originally automatic

Everything will bolt up and you need to drill a hole for the clutch cable to go through.

so nothing is wrong as far as wiring or anything like that.. i wouldn't have to mess wit the ECU..??? cuz i have most of the stuff.except for the the linkage that holds the shifter... not the shift link it self...

yes you will need a new ECU..urs is programmed for an auto tranny, not a manual tranny, you have to get an ecu for a maual tranny

no u dont have to drill the hole is already there....yes u can use your stock ecu but u will have a tranny code-u have to drop the rear crossmember to move the rear mount over about an inch the holes are already there but its a pain to get to the only wiring u have to do is for the neutral safety switch and for the reverse lights
