Default ITBs and direct port nitrous

I'm redoing my current setup and adding CBR 929 throttle bodies...the motor is a b18b the major components are 80 shot direct port, crower 403s and 11:1cr. now my plan was to run my fuel injectors in the CBR injector holes in the ITB and then re-install my nitrous nossles in the newly fabricated intake runners...my concern in this setup is, would there be any major problems having the nitrous/fuel nossles AFTER the fuel injectors??? I'm thinking no, since it is a direct port setup and fuel is dispensed with the nitrous....so its not like there is more dry nitrous being shot into the cylinders before the fuel, but any pointers?? seems like it might be a tuning nightmare though also would it matter the position of the nitrous nossles being closer to the injectors and ITBs or closer to the head?

I searched and found an old thread on here, but it was pretty short and the pic wasn't clear and I'm not sure whos car it was. thanks for any help

no i do not think so. Got a buddy with a mustang an the nozzles are after the injectors. NO problems at all.

I was thinking about doing a direct port on my itbs also. I was thinking about fabrication some brackets and have the noozle in front of the horns rather then tapping it into the manifold.

installing the nitrous before the fuel injectors will help atomize the fuel better.

I've read a lot about putting the jets as far away from the cylinders as possible because the nitrous cools down the intake air alot=extra power, and yes, it does seem like it would help the fuel mixture atomize better. My 2cents.

i've seen pictures of ITB setups that have the fogger nozzles mounted so that they spray into the end of the velocity stacks, although i dont know how efficient that would be

I agree! You should mount the nozzles on the Horns...
