i run toda b's in my b20 vtec, they have great midrange, but arent as strong up top like the skunk 2's are, it depends on what u like, torque or top end ? toda are supposeivly made out of better material ie last longer . . . .

That is the "ideal" compression for both those cams. You will peak higher in the RPM's, and have a higher peak HP with the Skunk2 2's. The TODA's will offer a broader powerband, but lack the 'peaky' nature that the Skunk2's have. As said above, it depends on what you are after.

What kinda driving are you doing??

BTW - You'll save a BUTT LOAD of $$ with the Skunk's, and you'll make more peak hp..just my 2 cents....

If you decide on the Skunks, save yourself some money and go with BLOX cams. They are identical right down to where they are manufactured.

Keep in mind though that the Skunks, along with most of the other cams made in Taiwan, have been known to promote valvetrain wear.

i would run at least 12.5 compression with the toda bs. im building the same thing 2.0L GSR.

Its all in the cam tuning on top of the combo your running to get the curve you want.

Skunk2 Stage2
Intake:266 duration/ 12.3 mm lift
Exhaust:262 duration/11.8mm lift

Toda B's
Intake:295 duration/ 12.0 mm lift
Exhaust:285 duration/ 12.0 mm lift

I think the B's will have more midrange then the stage2, but the stage2 might have more top end compared to the B's.

that is correct
and Toda and Skuck2 and made in china
all by the same manufacture as OBX
The grind is whats more important first what you want to do
is find out the specs on both cam then deside from there also getting som
good intake, header, exhaust combo play a big part of what cames you want
aswell.

Toda b's has a really smooth power curve all the way up to redline. You can barely feel vtec engage. Skunk's have harsh vtec engagement, and are stronger up top like stated before. I would say drag go with skunk's. Road race go with the toda's.

i just dont get the internet rumor of saying you should go with todas if your road racing.

for drag racing you need tq, and if you want more tq, go with a toda cam.
its all in the cam tuning.
