Default Install Tach

can anyone help me install a tach..we just dont know where the wireing needs to go! we need help asap!

there is a blue test connector on the accord passender side shock tower. It is one wire with a rubber booth covering it. That is the tach signal.

I been wondering what the hell that was for!

While we're at it sinister, since you seem to know your wiring stuff from other post...
Right behind my fuse box (under hood) the other day I found two wires (red and black with insulation holding the two together). They've been snipped and it looks aftermarket but not positive. It was coming up from the firewall with some other wires if I remember right. I'm thinking it was for an alarm or something the previous owner had. Any ideas, no CEL's or anything?

if it is not part of the main wire harness it isnt part of the car. you can tell oem wires because most of them are 22 gauge wire and usually have 2 colors on them or silver dots.
