Default hit the dyno today... big thanks to jeff evans :) (profab header)

few months back i had a post about my car not running right. over that span of time i slowy worked all the bugs out.
the post about it https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1014770
got the car running perfect 2 days b4 i had to go talk about close

the set up
gsr block
LS crank & rods
ARP Rod bolts
JDM ITR 25 os pistons (11.6:1)
Balanced and weight matched

Head and intake manifold were ported & polished by WBR
RC 4mm gsr overbore t-body
rc 310 injectors
skunk2 stage2 cams
skunk2 cam gears
ebay js racing replica with k&N filter
type R intake valves
Skunk2 dual valve springs & retainers
ITR lost motion assembly
profab header
kteller 2.5 exhaust catless all the way to a 2.5 es oval

type r tranny 4.4fd

ACT AI4XTSS clutch

neptune was used for engine management

i used some ngk bkr6e-11 plugs gaped to .035
valve lash was set to .007in .008ex

so for people who wounder about the profab header it looks like it worked pretty good on my car for the money i give it a big

Good numbers. Jeff is a good guy and a good tuner. I will be calling him soon to tune my car again. The first time my all motor gsr had a lot air flow restriction cause of the mugen header but now I got a better header and a different setup.

Sorry, I saved the graph on the flash disk and the file was corrupted when I got home so I will get it when I'm at the shop tomorrow.

Nice numbers too!

for you blind people i traced it over with mspaint the lines are smooth its just my shitty hand cordination tracing lines

that dip at the upper rpm was pretty bad jeff did his best to smooth it out. there was another one around the 5k range he tuned that one up and made the biggest gain around that area

oh yea, on way home i forgot i still had my ac belt on lol that could have free up a few more hp

does anybody think that this set-up is conservatively tuned , not maxed out? Good numbers though! any pics of the engine just want to see the header

Jeff evans tunes the cars to where they get a good air+fuel ratio and doesn't push the motor to limit.

200 on a dynapack is roughly 185 on a dynojet right?
I also like my profab header alot.

this car should make more than 200whp on a dynojet.

Its getting annoying how everyone just automatically knows the difference based on the type of dyno. It reads how you calibrate it. The cars ive seen dyno on jeff's dyno then on another dyno jet tend to read alittle LOWER on jeff's dyno.

this is true my friends h22 with anr header. aem cold air intake, and exhaust put down 189 at jeffs dyno. sounds close enough for me.
anyway its just numbers lol more important thing is how much more damn fun it is to drive this car.

Those are some low numbers. I have seen the same setup with 217whp on a Dynojet.

oh ok. MAn that LS crank sure brings up the torque. Im hiting 200 on a dynamics dyno with basically the same setup but a GSR crank and crower stage II and my torque is only 133. Theres definitely more potential in this motor.

great numbers man!!!

i had my b16 tuned on his dynapak.

jeff's dynapack actually reads about %5 lower than dynojet.

although we've seen most dynapaks reading higher than dynojet.

I know most people say that dynapacks tend to read high, and they do (hub hp), and recently ive seen jeff post that his dynapack reads low. I have a hard time believing this to a point simply because i havent seen it before. (doesnt mean its not true)

I know with mustangs and dyno dynamics and brake dynos you enter certain parameters and can controll the output of the dyno.

Isnt there something like the ramp time or something like that you can change on a dynapack that can affect output??

Either way, these numbers look right on par w/ a dynojet to me. So either way good #'s. Why dont u prove it to everyone and make a pass on a dynojet and see what happens. I mean the numbers may be a lil skewed, but it could be a relative comparison.

what was the a:f?? mid 13's?
