Hey guys. I just installed my intake today, and I noticed when I turn off my car it makes like a noise... just like the air has run out. It isnt a smooth shut off (sound wise). It kinda sounds like "puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhttt" Sorry if thats a bad example lol. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Yea its perfectly normal. My type s did it with my injen cold air, and my buddies EP3 does it with his injen cold air. Its like a hissing sound as you turn the ignition off.

Yeah its my first engine mod. Thats why I was worried cause I didnt know if I fucked something up.

It makes my car sound deeper. I cant really hear the vtech or "ivtec" lol as much as I hopped.

I do want more, but im gonna wait for a type s cause mines the base plus its auto so... I might get one next month. I hope!

yup normal.if you like the way your regular rsx sounds get a type s. i have an injen cold air on mine at 65hundred its a monster.

 

Yea the vtec crossover is loud in the type s w/ an intake.

 

Yeah my friend I used to work with had a type s. I raced her, it was badass sounding. My sisters ek does the same.
