don't know what to tell ya then.....too many things can be hooked up wrong.....i guess the only thing u can do is check EVERYTHING.....i know how it is.....a friend of my had the same thing happen to his eg......i gues u can check the wires that is hooked up to the alt....and make sure its hooked up right.....and see if the wires are hooked up on the fuse box (the one under the hood)....there should be 2 big wires going to that fuse box...make sure they are hooked up right.....(the dumb *** that installed my friend's motor only hook up one of those wires....and left the other one hanging....and i thought that the alt was bad too....ended up it was only one (*(^*T^&*%^ wire...

Are you using the same alternator and crank pulley that came with the B20?
Some B20's come with smaller Crank pulleys than the other B series motors.
And yes, I know from experience. My B20Z came with a smaller pulley. However, my brother's jdm B20B came with a normal B series pulley.
So, if you are using the smaller crank pulley with an integra Alt. You might be burning it out.
Or, if you are using the normal pulley with the B20 alt (the one used for the smaller pulley), you might not be charging the battery enough.
Just my 2 cents.

yea, i know,... THIS guy used speaker wire to costumize it... is it worth it to buy a new wire harness?

the guy that did the swap, said it came from an integra type R. and yea, it has a dif pulley. it has AEM pulley on the alt....
should i use a b20 pulley on the "integra type R" alt?
