Default b20 swap route; need advice

i want to swap a b20 into my 97 dx and most places sell just the long block... so should i just buy all the parts needed seperately? just seems like it would be expensive, im just wondering how most people go about completing this swap.

Most people just buy the longblock and try to sell off what they don't need.

Yeah, I took me a while too. Especially when you're replacing everything and building it from scratch.

I bought my long block for $750 and sold what I didn't need for 4 bills. Pretty good IMO.

The B20vtec is a very expensive swap and needs to be done right. I don't recommend it if your budget is low. I love the torqe though.
