what type of goldeneagle piston bore should i get? i know i need low compression but theres .83 .84 .85 ? is there more power with the big bore...remmber this is for turbo appl.
.83 what?
83mm?
85mm is the max for turbo apps. After that the cylinder walls become realllly thin, well not so much the outsides, but the area between cylinders.
Is your block sleeved? If not, stick with 81-81.5mm pistons.

Stick with 83mm or smaller for the first time around. The added torque (only a few ft/lbs) is not worth the risk of something happening, then having to get it re-sleeved because the walls are too thin.
I just got a block sleeved by bensons, and I kept it close to stock bore 81.5mm.
Also, Earl will hook you up with some sick deals, pm him. Awsome quality. . .
A mod should move this to the FI forum anyway, you will get more usefull info there.
