i did a mini me swap swap on my d15 block, i have a new zex nitrous kit i got off a friend. im looking to put a 50 shot on nitrous on my engine, i went to the zex website and they put a 75 on a vtec sohc with stock internals ... whats your opinions on this, do you think it would be safe to run the 50 shot, if not what do you think i would have to upgrade on my motor in order to do this? thanks

 

It depends on your compression, if you used the D16y8 head gasket then no, but if you used the d16z6 you might be able to get away with using 93 octane.

 

Its all on tuning, get it tuned good and you shouldnt have a problem. Also retard the timing.

 

i don't see a problem with a 50 shot...

 

my friends running a 65 shot, with no timing retarded and stock d15
50 i dont see a bad idea unless you spray at all times, be smart with it
