Default help , my car randomly tached out

i was turning onto my street, and i reached 2nd gear, and then my car hesitated, then the tach went all the way out past 8k then went back.

i just changed my distributor yesterday, so I cant imagine that is the problem.

MY tranny is about to blow -grinds galore, will the tranny rev like that every once in a while before it goes?

new clutch disc..

im hoping its just the tranny, any suggestions please...

tranny's a possibility, but somehow the throttle plate was pushed wide open via computer or something else is my guess... or there's a short somewhere... give us some more info.

i checked out the ignition plug, after throwing a code 15(ignition output), the plug was kinda loose, so i clicked it in and started right up.

however , this is a obdo setup with msd rpm switch on a obd2 y8. the msd is currently not ran to the dizzy, and i was just driving, and if i go wide open throttle, around right where vtec should kick in, it goes crazy and hesitates, then bounces all the way to 8k.

also, now my car idles weird, it repeatedly revs to 1800, then drops to 1k, repeat.

i checked for vacuum leaks, i dont know what it could be.
