my car idles at 1000 rpms and burns a 1/4 tank of gas when i drive like 7-10 miles i have a cel but i dont know how to get the code ? i searched but i can't find it here . can someone help me ? i have a 94 accord lx thanks

1/4 tank of gas would mean your running about 3 miles per gallon. stop exagerating and give us actual numbers

 

ok it might not exactly be 1/4 tank but i have to fill it up with 10 bucks every 3 days , my prelude didnt even burn this much gas , niether did my turbo del sol. and how can i check the iac ?

ok, but how many miles do you drive in those 3 days?

 

15-20 tops
