1450 for motor/tranny/ecu
430 for mounts(place racing)
150 for shift linkage
150x2 for axles
15 for throttle bracket
185 for a/c bracket(dont think i will do that)
185 for light weight crossmember, give your opion on wether i should do this or not)
155 for wiring harness
600 labor
now what do you guys think....
another option he gave me was a zc turbo setup which came out cheaper but i dont know much about the zc so thats why i come to you guys, would that be a better way to go or should i stick with the b16? I NEED HELP!!!!!!

those prices aren't hookup prices, but they're about what a shop would charge you. make sure he knows what he's doing. i'd recommend you replace some gaskets on the motor as well. perhaps the clutch too. the axles are pretty expensive, for $150 each they'd better be brand new from raxles.
he did say they were high prices, and he would have to work on the prices and give me a new quote. so i dont know how much of a difference it will be. what about hte motor itself is that high or not...all prices were with shipping too.

if you have a hf or si you should just run the extra wires so you dont have to buy a new harness and i would go with another set of mounts...i heard the place ones arent that good......as someone said ask blownhatch about the hcp mounts and shiftlinkage.....i think he sells the mounts and linkage for 410....and screw the crossmember and do a full tune up on the motor before it goes in
PLACE RACING
Gil's Stuff is wack and he's a ASSCLOWN..you'll do better with HCP or HASport

who did you get your motor through rexman? and about the mounts the guy putting it in for me sadid the place racing mounts are easier to install, so i will have to go with them, now the crossmember, dont you have to change it to be able to install headers? and no one has given an opion on the turb zc setup....give pros and cons of both setups. my friend said the turbo zc setup would be cheaper..
Personal Opinion----B16A
a. When VTEC kicks in, you're gonna feel like a turbo kicked in (Not at violent of a kick, but you get to go to 8200 pusing that VTEC power baby.......yeah) Also, with the turbo...it's an added on part of the engine. The VTEC comes "in" the engine, so it's stock. More things to go wrong with an aftermarket part like that (Waiting for the flamers on this one)
b. Parts....lots of them. Do this. Go on ebay , and on the main page type in "ZC". Now, after reviewing the 30 or so results hit your back button and type "B16a"...Now, after spending 3 days or so looking at the parts...well, you get the idea.
I have driven both turbo (92 Eclipse GSX) and VTEC (00 Civic SI, 92 Integra GSR, 90 CRX w/B16A (Mine)) cars, I would say go with the VTEC.

Also, HaSport all the way on the mounts. I have HaSport motor mounts, shift linkage, and short shifter...all high quality and they have a cool logo (Pop the hood and you see these nice orange mounts that say "Powered by Hasport" and has a superman looking H logo

aside from the motor, those look like , new part prices...if u shop around u can probably get better pricing..but for convience sake..u may just want to get as much from a single source and try to get them to discount u on a total package...yeah and hope u made the right choice on motor..
Wow....that is all I have to say. Those prices are horrible. I can get your HCP mount kit with linkage for 410 shipped to your house. If your friend can't intall them because he said that Place is easier....I think you need to reconsider who is going to do the swap for you. It sounds like this guy is definately taking advantage of you. You can get those axles new from like a Napa or AutoZone for like 80 each. WTF? You dont need a throttle bracket....You can just get a PWO AC bracket...that is what everyone sells for so much....155 for wiring...It depends on your car. If it is a DX, then that sounds about right.....but looking at the rest of the prices...it is prolly a Si or Hf. 600 for labor....without the wiring...HAHAHAHAHAH that is some funny stuff. I am sorry man, but you need to think of going somewhere else. There are plenty of knowledgable people on this board that are from your area that can help you out. Oh yeah....1450 for the swap is high w/o axles.
And as far as the turbo ZC is concerned...it would be cool...but I woulnd't trust that scammer to do it.

Here is a run down of prices:
Motor, tranny, ecu, axles = 1350 shipped max
axles = 200 for both
mount kit and linkage = 410
Misc = 100 bucks (hoses, gaskets, etc)
Labor + wiring = 600

If you want to do it right, there are other things that you haven't listed:
1) plugs
2) plug wires
3) dist cap/rotor
4) water pump
5) timing belt
6) thermostat
It adds up pretty quickly... also things like:
1) clutch
2) pressure plate
3) flywheel resurface.
I think I spent probably close to $300 to complete the entire project.
