Something very stupid
Hey guys I did something very stupid. I was getting out of my car at the gas station when i hit my door on the side of the thing (dunno what its called.. just a piece of concrete). Anyways I use that same station and # so I'm used to knowing that my door always clears it barely. But this time I had a friend in the car so it weighted it down enough that the very bottom part of my door hit it. It scraped the paint off and I can see the silver metal. Its not very big at all, just 2 small scratches each the size of a grain of rice on the bottom of my door. I was just wondering that since you can't really see it when the door is shut is it alright if I just leave it? Or will it begin to rust especially since this is the raining season?
touch it up, or if you are lazy/cheap/whatever and realize no one will ever see it unless they are laying under the car with the door open (could some one fit there??) just get some clear nail polish from some girl, clean the spot off with soap and water, dry and apply. as long as you seal the bare metal you will be fine.
good luck!!
good luck!!

hahaha.
maybe if he kept slamming his door into the concrete. and also slammed it into the pole. then he would probably be interested in your door.

Is it called that? I always just refered to it as the gas pump platform. Sucks man, just cover up the metal with some touch up paint until you can afford to paint it.

Actually, if it scraped the bottom of the door, it sounds more like a "machine pad", "curb", or "dead junkie" to me. A "bollard" is a steel post about four feet high filled with concrete. Not to be confused with a "delineater" which is made of orange plastic and has no concrete in it, or a "live junkie" which wouldn't be lying in a puddle of gas next to the pump.
