Painting and Replacing a Door handle
Well I just got my new(used) door handle in the mail.
The new handle came from a DX/LX car so it is black and I have to paint it VSM to match my door. How would I go about doing that.. should I first sand the door handle and then paint it w/ duplicolor then spray it w/ clear coat from duplicolor?
If so, what is the closest duplicolor match to VSM?
Which grit sand paper should I use to sand the handle down?
How many coats should be sufficient? (3 of the paint and 2 clearcoat?)
Is it difficult to install a doorhandle.. I wouldnt think so but if anyone has personal experience with it I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
