OKay i have an 85 crx with and d16a1 swap, i was wondering how you pull the codes for this. the light is on and it drives me nuts. Any ideas?

turn key on On position but dont crank.look under the passenger side carpet,theres an ecu and you look at the blinks it gives you , 1 long blink is 10 , 1 short is one , so if 2 long one short it whould be a code 21.

 

what am i looking at for the codes the check engine light elaborate on it a bit. I mean in my probe i have to take and jump 2 pins togethe to get the CEL to blink the codes, so i dont see how just that will work.
