Default B16A into an EF? OEM parts needed?

Okay, I'm swapping a B16A into an EF and someone told me I would need EX knuckles in order for the axles to fit.

Questions:
If I use EX knuckles, is that all I will need, or will I also need the EX hubs/brakes etc.?
I've already bought some new front brake pads for my '90 DX, and I'm wondering if they will work if I have to change out my hubs and knuckles to EXs, or if I shouldn't worry 'cuz I won't have to change out my hubs/rotors?
Will I need anything else for this swap? Is there anything that I should change out/replace while I'm doing the swap?

I already have a B16A, shift linkage, and axles. I will be getting the timing belts, a new water pump and a new fuel filter.

Any helpful info or suggestions will be helpful I've already searched and read a thread or 2 on b16 swaps, but I don't think they covered some of what I'm asking. If you know of a thread, you can just point me to it. Thanks.

EDIT: I've already changed the spark plugs, and I've already bought a 5 quart bottle of Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but a b16 only uses 4 quarts of motor oil, right? And I was going to change out the tranny fluid also and I heard GM synchromesh is good for gears that are scratching, worn-out synchros, etc. Should I only use this if my gears are like that(I don't know yet, 'cuz I haven't swapped the engine in and driven it) and use some other type of tranny fluid. Or does it not matter 'cuz GM synchromesh is tranny fluid, anyways?

No you do not need EX knuckles for the axles to fit, your DX ones are just right.

to take it one step further, your buddy who told you that most likley had a Standard Model (STD) that has hubs that dont work with a b16. so he had to swap them out, but you dont.

yey for something good about a dx

 Check, check. So, is there anything else I should change out/replace while I'm doing this swap? Am I forgetting anything?

Synchromesh will only get you so far...

If the gears are to the point that they need synchromesh, I would look into rebuilding the tranny or getting another one quite soon. Pray to God that they don't grind.

Yeah, I hope I don't have a grinding tranny. The motor looks to be pretty clean, so I hope the tranny is, too.

Okay, the B16 is in the EF, but it's a tight fit. I haven't received my mounts in the mail, yet, so we just dropped it in with the stock mounts it came with, for now. I read somewhere that something has to be knocked/hammered in, what is it?

all aftermarket mounts you would get you will have to bang out the side frame rail for alternator clearance, you will have to take your motor out to do this, dont be shy bangin it out it will just make more room for when you need to replace your belt or your alternator, plus you will have to have the motor out to put in the rear mount you will not be able to do it with the motor in the car still,i strongly suggest you leave the 2 side mounts off , install the rear lower the motor in , bolt down the rear mount , lower the motor down as far as you can to install the tranny mount , pull it up and bolt it down , and they your timing belt mount should slide right in , bolt that down and your set! also i would suggest taking out your front cross member for all of this, cut off the front mounting points on your crossmember you will need to for clearance especially if your using the hasport mounts.i would also suggest you take off your throttle body , tps sensors like to get broken when putting the motor in , but if for some reason it breaks email me and i will tell you how to replace it with your stock crx one. let me know if you need any help wiring also. ive done over 20 of these swaps. lata
