turbo b16 hatch

Default turbo b16 hatch

i have a 91 hatch with a jdm b16a turbocharged i have been having overheating problems so i both exuast wrap/ fluidyne radiator and a brand new termostat and my temp still goes up after about a 25 minutes of driving please help

Does it overheat regardless of driving condition (ie highway and city)? If it only overheats in town I would say it's the fan if it overheats regardless of condtion i'd say it's the HG.

it overheats when i get on the highway and if i boast in the city i have to turn the heat on in the car to max for it to go down

My old turbo set-up did the same thing and a cooling fan fixed the problem - My new set-up is doing the same thing and hopefully I can get lucky again. Make 100% sure the fan is coming on, there are no air pockets in the radiator and the thermostat is opening - I know you said you have checked but check again, finding a lousy mistake, beats replacing a head gasket

That's where my money is at. Like stated above though, make sure that the fan is coming on and bleed your cooling sytem.

I installed a slim fan on my CRX last night and it took care of the problem. Are you using a slim fan or an OEM fan?
