Newest Setup:
Ok as most of you know I have a full Greddy Kit with Front mount and RC310 Injectors. Due to an unexpected event my 2nd and 3rd pistons melted. Now I have everything straightened out with the turbo/manifold so its on to the rebuild. I'm going with SRP 9:3-1 Forged Ls Bore Pistons (wristpins and rings). Now I'm sticking with the Greddy Blue box as my FMU (will eventually go to Uberdata) what can l look to boost safely?
wow. I wish you a lot of luck, because I feel the best thing you could do is some form of real engine management. Upgraded internals can be melted with poor tuning (i.e. fmu) just as stock ones can...here is what seams to be the breakdown:
1) bigger (440 or larger) injectors
2) get rid of the fmu (imo not even close to optional)
3) whatever internals you can afford
4) good tuning
^ will be much more reliable and enjoyable than
keeping your current fuel system and even the "best" internals out there...

Well even with the stock internals I was fine......until I pushed my car too far (120mph joy riding). Its more of a I need to learn what I have and respect it kinda thing.
