Headlights
I'm trying to run HID's but I read that your beam will look jacked up if you keep the stock headlight lens' since they're all bumpy and ****...
Does anyone make any clear lens or anything other than those projectors...? Or does anyone running HID's in their CRX have a problem with the stock lens? How is your cutoff? Pics?
Tried searching but didn't find what i was looking for..

I found this and now I'm wondering if it would be possible to take the lens off the aftermarket one and use it with the stock housing?
I know that would be an expensive lens but if it works...
The only reason I want this is because I live in the country and I can't see **** with my stock lights....

I live out in the country too and I know what your talking about needing to see better. I got 4 sylvania (brand) silverstar bulbs and put them in my original headlight enclosures and I could see fine. In fact, a lot of the time I even felt comfortable driving around with only the low beams on for normal only-car-on-the-road night driving. the focus was fine and as far as I know my low beams didn't blind ppl going the other way. they arent HID lights but they worked just fine for me and I was verry happy with them. I got them out of my friends buick after he wrecked it, you should be able to buy 4 silverstars for about 100$
Alright cool. I've hit two deer since I've moved out here (thankfully not in my CRX.. TJ with brushguard
) so I'm trying to get all the light I can possibly get.
I used to have some kind of crappy hyper-white bulbs in my old car and they lasted about two months so I didn't really want to get those again... Thats why I wanted HID's (Longer life). But if the sylvania bulbs last then I'll just get those and save myself the hassle
Thanks
