Took these projector housings---->

And modified them to fit some real HID's.

Reason i choose the projector housings like the above is cause the lense cover dont have light strictors like the OEM honda light lense, witch would make the HID more effective in the projector housing since its clear....

Thanks....

I have the 6000k "purple" HID kit in my CRX using the stock headlights. You'll actually be amazed of the even beam pattern from them.

i've heard most "aftermarket" projectors are mainly for cosmetic looks and the actual projector and "cut-off" is not as accurate as a true OEM projector. Just look at the price difference.....the aftermarket ones are getting fairly cheap in price, so something has to give.

I'm happy with my OEM housings using the HID, but Im curious to see what a 9006 aftermarket projector headlight would look with HID's.

The governement is currently trying to get all manufacturers to stop making aftermarket HID kits and recall (see http://www.fet-usa.com/news_reviews.asp for an example) all the ones currently sold because they include the bulb but no HID projector with a cutoff. The only way to do it right is take an OEM HID projector out of a car (Audi S4, BMW 5 series and S2000 are excellent choices) and retrofit it into an aftermarket projector housing. Check out http://www.hidretro.com and http://www.hidforum.com both have excellent info.

You don't just swap the bulbs and ballasts to do it right, you also need to retrofit the actual HID projector itself or it won't work right
