extra sensor
im doing the mpfi wiring on my 91 civic w/ LS engine
i noticed there is a sensor on the coolant flange on the side of the block and there wasnt one on my STD engine
1: do i need this sensor?
2: where does the harness have a connector for it?

Thats the fan switch. You dont need to plug it in unless you want your radiator fan to turn on
It's just a standard 2-pin plug. If I remember correctly, theres a plug left over from the DPFI-MPFI swap that you can use.
Take the two wires that originally went to the back of the block (thats where the fan switches are on obd0), I believe they're black and yellow. Cut off the bullet ends on them, and solder on that 2-pin plug with enough wire to reach that new sensor.
The order of the wires doesnt matter. It's just a switch that connects the circuit of those two wires and turns the fan on.
