Default ES motor mount inserts help!

i ordered a set online and it came with 4 pieces. 2 for the driver side/trans mount and 2 that im assuming is for the crossmember mount. Now what i'm confused about is since there are 2 mounts/pieces for the driver side and tranny, am i supposed to only put one in? i tried putting in 2 into the driver side and it was very stiff, but if i out 2 in the driver side then there is none that i can put into the tranny. So now i have one mount inside the driver side and one mount inside the trans. is this correct? thanks

energy suspension mount inserts go into the front and rear mounts. use both pieces for each mount, yes they are supposed to be stiff otherwise they would be useless

well of course theyre supposed to be stiff, if it were stiff then i wouldnt be having any problems. what im asking is if i installed them correctly, ONE circle mount inside the driver side, ONE circle mount into the trans. is this correct?
