91 Integra LS Hesitate During Acceleration
Hey guys!
Great forum! I've got a 91 Integra when i'm either idling or acceleration from 900 to 2300 rpm it boggs or hesitate and after 2500 it's fine. i could rev it pass 2500 while at idle just fine. if i press on the gas slowly, it'll rev fine. it boggs when i rev it quickly.

I have something similar on my 1989 Teg. too. It seems to be better the more I drive it. I suspect it is like avacuum like on the intake manifold. Probably a bad gasket, but I have never checked it since the issue is minor.
Not sure if the cat is good, i just got this car today. the exhuast pipes seemed like it's leaky. could a leaky exhaust make it putter and bogg during acceleration? so when i accelerate it hard, it'll bogged. but when i drive and it's after 2300k...i could floor it and it'll respond fine.
Check your electrical system; alternator, distributor, spark plug wires. I had a similar problem (though it was on an 89 Camry) and it turned out to be bad wires and a shot dizzy iirc.

My brother had a problem like this with a Celica. He basically was burning oil an dall the deposits clogge dup his catalyst. Well, if you want to get under there and check the cat. it is your choice. Hopefully the bolts move for you.
Anyway, with my brother he had to press hard on the gas too and got bad fuel economy because the engine couldn't breath.
