Default B16b and spoon stroker

was wondering if anyone on has installed,or know someone who has,a spoon stroker kit on a B16b.if so what kind of numbers could i expect,and is the stock ecu up to the task? any HELP would be greatly appreciated. thanks

my friend just got one for his b16b. all the stoker kit does is make the b16b into a b18c type r motor. the b16b and b18c share the same block. the noraml b16a has a deck hieght or 7mm shorter than the b16b. you could probably expect similar numbers to that of a jdm b18c R motor. you gain a little hp, but you gain quite a bit of torque. is your b1b stock? if so it would probably would but out a little better numbers than a stock b18c because of the ctr intake cam is slightly bigger.

thank you yes it is completley stock,and i want to keep it as factory as possible.will the stock ecu be up to the task?

yeah do it, its only like 1k or so right? you ecu should be fine for the time being, would get in for some tuning though

yea,i am gonna do it,i think the kit is around $1100 shipped.definatley will be doing some tuning.anyone else have some experience with it? and thanks for your replies
