Best 6th gen brake pads with least dust and extended rotor life.
About to change brake pads on the accord. not needing race/track pads. just no dust, long life, more rotor life.
thanks in advance.
thanks in advance.
just get some good tools. there isnt much to the job at all. take the wheel off, take a few bolts off. or you could get a book from http://www.helminc.com which has the torque specs and step by step. for brakes---unless for race apps., just make sure its all tight. also, get some anti-sieze.
thx.
how are they on dust? average?

i have a 6th gen--new to me though. didnt know they were press on. never thought honda would make a car with much challenge. dont need to remove rotors to change pads i hope. couldnt see any reason for it at all.

What? There are two screws holding my rotor down on my 6th gen. Secondly, I could probably drive around without those two screws, because the calipers, but more so the rim torqued down with four lug nuts are holding everything in place.

well on my 98 coupe lx. front rotors are press on. maybe they made mine differently than everyone else's...

My 98 coupe ex is held in place with two screws (which you don't need). 6th gens are not pressed on, nor are they hub-on-rotor design. very easy to change.

very, very minimal dust, which is the reason i continue to use OEM pads. i've used other "cheap" brands and simply couldn't stand the brake dust and squealing.

I have doubts that yours are press-on. What is press-on? Do they come in different colors? Will the chip if I type too hard?

i recomend honda pads....they work the best..and honda stock rotors..aftermarket cheap pads no good...they give u brake dust and squeaks...youll hate it if u the picky type...stick with honda pads bro and youll be aight
