what broke inside? maybe you can just swap some parts from the hf tranny and keep most of the si guts

<---- doesnt know much about tranny rebuilding

just remember that the guts from the HF (in terms of the differental) and all that jazz are about 1/8" smaller in dia. then the dx/si brothers.....but seeing as how you said Hf guts into the L3.....i don't know if the main shaft will accept the Hf gears...but i could be way off.

i don't know what broke..... but what happened was that it poped out of gear....that i put it back in gear and the car wont move..... i took it out and looked tru the axel holes and just see some gear.... just there.... lose...

****.....that's not good at all....Time to crack that bitch open.....i was about to say add oil to your tranny to make it stop popping outta gear...but then you tell me you can look at a gear through your differential and that's usually "UR FUCKED" comment......sorry to hear it...

You wouldn't want to do that swap at all unless you you hate straight line performance and love to get good gas mileage. I've got the original trans from my si left over from my sway. Sell it to ya for cheap.
