Default Dash Removal

I know there's a lot of threads made about this already but I have searched the recent content and archive and I've found a lot of dash removal thread for a CRX but not for a 99-00 Civic (EJ6/EK). Well, I've seen a "How-to" before but it aint detailed and skipped out on lots of parts but the guy did have some pics. Pics don't matter to me as long I get a detailed step by step guide, where the major bolts are at, what to remove blah blah blah. I've gotten as far as removing the glove box, gauge cluster, and all of the other stuff, I just need to pull the dashboard out. Can somebody give me a quick link IF you guys do find it. Pics would be nice also. Sorry to bug, don't mean to waste your time, thanks in advance, don't be an *** and help a brotha out.

Chilton's manuals are $10 and they should be all the detail you need. Helms are more expensive, but much more inclusive.

Honestly, its not that hard usually to figure out how to pull the dash in cars, I've done it in 3 cars w/o a manual of any sort. Pretty much just start pulling screws bolts and clips out till all the panels come free I COULD go scan the pages from the Helms manual, but thats too much effort for me right now.

Yea, just like jlacoy said, its butter, just start from one side of the dash and find your way around. I just got done putting mine back in from a 00 Si. I know Im wrong on the number here but its around 10 bolts. The f'n hardest ones are the 2 that hold the brackets just outside the center console area, especially on the pass side.

Haynes worked fine for me:

Helms manuals are the **** though.

haynes is cheap, but helms is a lot better. and if your going to do more than one project on your car, definatly go with helms.
