Default ebay intake

been searching for a DIY, all I can find are people bitching (various other than prelude forums) one way or another (it's shitty, it's awesome, get a k&n filter for it, you get what you pay for, it's ****** loud, same gains and design as injen/aem, etc.) about it... can someone link me specifically? also, there are different varieties actually on ebake... a list of things to keep in mind or look out for?

This has been covered countless times before.

There's a good thread with a review.

The biggest part of an intake that varies from one brand to another is the filter. If you buy the cheap intake from ebay and get a K&N filter, you'll have the same performance as an AEM or Injen.

I just put a cone filter on the stock pipe. When Its pretty cold outside it seems like it pulls a tad bit more than it did with the stock filter and extra piping.
